Virtual fencing for buffalo & cattle

No fence.
No wire. Just a boundary.

Rakshak replaces the physical fence with an invisible one โ€” drawn and moved from your phone. Your animal is warned gently before crossing it, protected from theft, and never out of reach.

Built for buffalo & cattle, India & UK

Works even with patchy phone signal
Virtual fencing, explained

You draw the boundary. The collar holds the line.

This is what replaces the physical fence: no wire, no posts, just a line drawn on your phone. As the animal nears that line, the collar responds in three gentle steps โ€” never a surprise, and always a chance to turn back before it's needed.

safe ground
vibration
sound
01

A quiet buzz

As the animal nears the fence line you've set, the collar gives a soft vibration โ€” a nudge, nothing more.

02

A rising tone

If it keeps walking, a sound plays, growing a little stronger the closer it gets โ€” clear and easy to learn.

03

A brief pulse

Only if it crosses the line despite both warnings โ€” a short, gentle pulse. It stops the instant it turns back. Walking back inside the fence is always free.

What owners actually worry about

It was never really about the fence.

01

Theft, not wandering

For most owners, the real fear isn't a lost animal โ€” it's someone else's hands on her in the night.

02

Missed breeding signs

Buffalo especially show very few visible signs. Missing the window costs an entire season of milk.

03

One collar, one cost

Most families keep a handful of animals. Devices priced for hundred-head ranches were never built for them.

Why Rakshak, not just another fence

Built around what worries the owner, not just a boundary line.

Protection first

Theft & loss alerts

An alert the moment a collar is tampered with, removed, or its location changes in a way that doesn't make sense.

Shared, not solo

Village & cooperative model

A shared setup can cover a whole village โ€” owners use it for a small cost instead of buying one alone.

Built for each animal

Buffalo & cattle, tuned separately

Movement patterns calibrated for each species โ€” not one generic model stretched to fit both.

Beyond the collar

Records that help later

Location and activity history that can help an insurance claim move faster if the worst happens.

Two countries, two ways of farming

Same collar, different reasons to wear it.

About Rakshak

Early-stage, honest about it, and building in the open.

Where we are today

Rakshak is currently in active development. We're building and testing the first working prototype โ€” nothing is for sale yet, and we won't claim otherwise. This page exists to explain the idea clearly and hear from the people it's meant to help.

Who's behind it

Rakshak is founded and run by Vijay Dasari, working across India and the UK to build a collar that fits how buffalo and cattle are actually farmed in both places โ€” not a one-size-fits-all import.
